Trap Shooting - Singles & Doubles:
Trap is a shooting sport where a clay target is thrown moving away from the shooter. Note: new or novice shotgun shooters should start with this activity rather than selecting skeet or sporting clays.
The LRGC has six trap fields - of which four are typically used for normal daily shooting. These fields use voice call systems such that shooters may conveniently shoot in either squads or practice individually.
Please report and sign in at the LRGC office prior to shooting. A membership (annual or day/drop-in) is required to shoot all outdoor shotgun activities. Purchased tokens are required to use the trap fields. A signed "Shooters Agreement" form is required prior to shooting on any range.
Note: LRGC Outdoor Trap fields are open until 4:30 pm (summer) and 4:00 pm (winter).
Extended hours in summer to 7:30 pm on Wed.
(Please note that last trap squad out 20 min prior to close)
