The Langley Rod & Gun Club (LRGC) was established in 1946 and is a non-profit Society incorporated under the Societies Act of British Columbia to provide a safe and friendly facility where individuals can enjoy many shooting disciplines. These disciplines include but are not limited to Trap & Skeet shooting, 5-stand Sporting Clays, 22 cal Rifle, Air Pistol & Rifle, Handgun, Fast Draw and Archery. The club has run continuously since its founding.
The Club is managed by an annually elected Board of Directors consisting of a President, two Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer and directors representing each of the various shooting disciplines. These individuals have a variety of backgrounds including Business Management, Law Enforcement, Education, and Construction. Board of Directors list - see below:
LRGC has grown to the point where it can no longer operate effectively as a small closed society. We now need to grow to maintain our individual shooting disciplines, our membership, and our facilities. With the threats that our current societal attitudes impose, the Club needs to revise its past approach and has adopted the practices of a professional board. The Club has developed and will implement a business plan to be able to rapidly respond and properly manage the risks associated with these pressures, especially in the areas of changes in the law related to firearms, range facilities and the environment.
The Club offers Memberships for individuals, juniors (under 18), seniors (over 65) and families. Day Passes are also available to the shooting public.
