Special Meeting: Federal/BC Conservatives Question Period - Steve Schafer

Club informational meeting:  Arranged for your benefit; Please come and get your questions answered! 

Steve Schafer - Conservative MP Candidate for Abbotsford-South Langley, plus a representative member of the BC Conservative political party (TBA) - will be visiting the LRGC to discuss issues related to firearm legislation. He will be accompanied by a member of the BC Conservative Party yet to be determined. 

All invited.  Get involved - Come and meet these Conservatives candidates; bring your questions and hopefully get some answers!  

Background: 

The LRGC has welcomed political candidates to share their views on issues of concern to our firearms community, as well as any other questions on their mind. A few weeks ago we hosted BC United leader Kevin Falcon, and we were told at that time that we’ll also be able to get Conservative Party of BC leader John Rustad out as well.

In future, we will also have a new Member of Parliament to represent our interests in Ottawa. So we have invited one of our members, former LRGC Vice President Steve Schafer, to share a bit about why he’s running for the Conservative Party of Canada nomination in Abbotsford-South Langley, and to take all of your questions.

Steve is the current Vice President of the riding where the LRGC is located, but he’s also a Provincial Director with the provincial Conservative Party. So if there are any provincial questions, you can also ask him those. He has said that the nomination contest winner for the provincial candidate in Langley Abbotsford may also be available for this meeting.

Please join us for what promises to be a very informative session on both federal and provincial politics.

Steve has said that the federal Conservative Party is not allowing any debates, so your best opportunity to grill the candidates is right now!
