3D Trail Archery

So, What is 3D Trail Archery........

3D Archery is when Archers shoot at a 3 dimensional life size foam target animal.

These animal targets range in size to mimic life size different animals and are set up along an outdoor course that resembles a hiking/hunting trail.

Archers shoot at the targets to mimic a real life hunting experience. Target animals are placed in different locations and Archers shoot from different distances depending on their level of skill. You can shoot just for fun, or you can take part in a 3D archery competition. In general, each animal target will showcase a different scenario.

Archers of all skill sets are always welcome.

Archers shoot different bows depending on their preference, Recurve, longbows and compound bows are commonly used.

LRGC Archery trail course presently has 20 stations.

We use the front 9 stations on a daily basis with animal silhouettes for targets, the back 11 stations are used for special events with life size foam animal targets placed at each station for the event. Our 3D trail course winds through tall wooded areas and open tall grass fields on the LRGC property.

3D Trail Archery at LRGC is a great experience, getting outdoors, socializing with other Archers and walking through a very accessible trail course suitable for all ages.
